Dr Amaka Kate Uzu is a Family Physician with 16 years of experience in Family Medicine. She completed her postgraduate training in Scotland, where she practised for several years before continuing her career in Abu Dhabi. Her international experience gives her a broad perspective on patient care, which she finds deeply rewarding.
Dr Uzu holds additional qualifications in Diabetes Care, Women’s and Reproductive Health. She is passionate about holistic, patient-centred care, and takes pride in building trusted, long-term relationships with her patients, helping them feel heard, supported, and confident in their care.
Outside of medicine, Dr Amaka loves traveling, exploring new foods, cultures, dance, and music, staying active through group activities, and spending quality time with her husband and two boys. Her approach to life reflects the same balance, curiosity, and care that she brings to her practice.
